"My love for gardens and plants was inevitable I guess. I grew up in a house that was a jungle of plants and seed trays propagated by my Dad. He had an amazing allotment in Lancaster (GB), way over by the old disused Cotton Mill. Before me and my brothers came along he had his own business growing begonias and fuchsias. His love and knowledge for gardening was passed on to me.
Although I've been gardening for 20 years (eek!) and serving clients this side of the pond for 16 years, it's time now to work
full-time on my passion with the launch of The Cultivated Garden Co. Here I am in my new venture. It's so exciting! The company name says so much; about where I come from and the knowledge I've acquired, about me... and what I love to bring to clients' gardens".
Trace lives with her husband and choccy labrador Wallace and mad cat Grommit in windswept Montauk. You'll probably find her in her garden.
